1. Preamble

We (variously referred to as “Preyas”, “the company”, “the service provider”, “the website”, “application”, “app”, “us”, “we”, “our” or similar word indicating the service provider) are committed to respecting the privacy of our “subscribers”, “consumers” or “users”.

This Privacy Policy includes the practices of collection, usage, sharing and retention of user information. It should be read along with the “Terms and Conditions of Use” and all other policies listed on the website. This is a computer-generated electronic record (not requiring any physical or digital signature), published in compliance with the prevalent laws and rules, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”).

4. Non-Personal Information

a) Collection

User agrees and provides consent for collection of usage-related, technical, diagnostic, or any such information for the purposes specified herein. This information may be collected during registration, use, or any other transaction, duly communicated at the time of collection as may be necessary. This information does not identify user personally.

b) Usage

The above-mentioned information may be collected continuously, regularly, frequently or occasionally, to improve the service quality, the website, to provide software updates, to provide product support, to verify compliance, or any such reason.

c) Sharing

To enable the website partners and third-party developers to improve their software, hardware and services designed for use with the Website, we may also provide any such partner or third-party developer with a subset of diagnostic information that is relevant to that partner’s or developer’s software, hardware and/or services, as long as the diagnostic information is in a form that does not personally identify user.

d) Retention

5. Information Collection by Third Party, Websites and Applications

In case usage of our services requires us to redirect users to websites, applications, or links operated by third-party affiliates and partners for use of specific features, then they will be subjected to privacy policy of respective third party. Their privacy policy, terms of use, and other policies regarding collected information may differ from ours, and which is not in our control. We recommend users to go through the same carefully and provide consent, if required, for the purposes stated herein.

Once user leaves our servers, the use of any information provided is governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the respective website/application being visited. If user can't find the privacy policy of any of such websites /applications via a link from the website's homepage, then user should contact the relevant website /application directly for more information.

6. Information Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, logical, physical and managerial measures to safeguard user’s personal and sensitive information against loss, theft and unauthorized access, use and modification. Access to information is controlled and restricted only to administrator. Access is password protected, and logs of transactions are maintained. These measures are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risks of processing user’s personal information.

We assure that in case any third-party code is used in our app, then that third-party’s practices with respect to user data collection, usage, sharing and retention are fully compliant with Google Play Developer Program policies. It is fully ensured that personal and sensitive user data from our app is neither sold nor used for any purpose other than agreed and disclosed herewith by us or by third-party, regardless of whether user data is transferred after being sent to a server, or collected by a third-party code embedded in our app.

We further assure that we never publicly disclose any personal and sensitive data including government identification numbers.

These and other such measures, including measures taken by the cloud infrastructure service provider, are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risks of processing personal information of the user. While such reasonable measures are taken on best-effort basis, they cannot be foolproof, guarantee complete data protection, or may prove to be inadequate against theft in the event of high-tech cybercrime.

7. Changes to Privacy Statement

We will update this Privacy Statement from time to time in response to changing technical, legal, regulatory or operational requirements. We will provide notice of any such changes (including when they will take effect) as required by law. Continued use of the service after any such updates take effect will constitute acknowledgement and (as applicable) acceptance of those changes by users. Acknowledgement and acceptance of the changes and updated would be mandatory in order to continue with the service.
